In the lead up to a busy period heading towards the festive time of Christmas and other special events and celebrations, food is something that we perhaps indulge in a little more now than at any other time of year.

However, I wanted to share with you some healthy snack ideas that will keep you feeling fuller longer, satisfied and keep you going through what could be a busy time, whether you are juggling work and family, or just family…whatever it may be try some of these options out.

  • Fresh fruit

  • Seeds and nuts

  • Veggie Stix (carrots/celery/cucumber) served with nutritious dips

    • hummus

    • fresh veg dip

  • Peanut butter with sliced apples

  • Granola with your favourite plant-based milk and yoghurt topped with fresh fruits

  • ON TOAST/CRACKERS: you can add a variety of healthy toppings (peanut butter, fresh fruits instead of sugar full jams, tofu scramble, beans, sliced cucumber and tomatoes topped with a sprinkling of sea salt, black pepper & a drizzle of olive/truffle oil, smashed avocado)

  • Fresh juices & smoothies

The list is endless however this gives you some creative ideas to get snacking healthily filled with lots of plant-based nutrition!
